How to make a tile bag
The bag is a flat bag made from two pieces of material. It has a rounded bottom edge so tiles do not get caught in corners.
- Bag Material
- Use cotton drill or thicker material. Anything thinner than drill may be transparent.
- Bag Tie
- Ribbon, hat elastic or a separate elastic band
- Bag Dimensions
- length (finished) maximum 33 cm
- width (finished) maximum 21 cm
- ribbon 45 cm or hat elastic 22 cm
- Cutting Out
- Allow 3 cm for seams.
- Use a bread and butter plate to mark out the rounded bottom.
- Sewing

Align the fabric with the right sides together and sew the first seam.

Turn the bag inside out and press the seam.

Fold and stitch the top edge. Press it.

Sew the second seam on the outside of the bag
and include the ribbon or hat elastic in this seam.
